KLIK SAJA - The United States' latest airstrike targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure has reportedly failed to deliver the decisive blow previously claimed by Washington.

This setback is believed to have triggered President Donald Trump’s recent outburst in a press conference, where he openly criticized both Iran and Israel, displaying clear signs of frustration before reporters.

Trump had earlier asserted that a 30,000-pound bomb successfully destroyed Iran’s key nuclear installations.

However, this claim was contradicted by preliminary intelligence assessments from U.S. agencies.

According to a Reuters report, the strike only caused temporary disruption, delaying Iran’s nuclear activities by approximately one to two months.

Crucially, Iran’s uranium stockpiles remained largely untouched, and the underground structures housing vital components of its nuclear program were not significantly damaged.

An anonymous U.S. intelligence source confirmed that while the bombing managed to seal off access to two main facilities, it fell short of inflicting lasting damage to the hardened infrastructure buried deep beneath the surface.

Iran, for its part, maintains that its nuclear research serves purely civilian and peaceful purposes.

Tensions in the Middle East have since cooled slightly, following signals from both Iran and Israel that their recent aerial conflict — which lasted nearly two weeks — has come to a halt.

Both sides have lifted civilian restrictions imposed during the 12-day hostilities.

President Trump, however, expressed disappointment over what he viewed as violations of a ceasefire he had brokered earlier.

Speaking before his departure to a NATO summit in Europe, he publicly rebuked Israel, urging restraint. “I’m going to make Israel calm down for now,” Trump was quoted as saying by Reuters.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed that Iran is willing to honor the ceasefire — provided Israel does the same.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has reportedly assured U.S. officials of his country’s commitment to the truce, unless provoked by Iran.
