Trump also attempted to revoke Harvard’s ability to enroll international students, though a federal judge has since paused the move pending further legal review.
According to Open Doors, an organization tracking international education, more than 1.1 million international students from over 210 countries were enrolled in U.S. colleges and universities during the 2023–2024 academic year.***
