KLIK SAJA - Social media is currently abuzz with an orchestrated wave of sympathy generated by the Israeli government and pro-Israel public figures, following Iran’s missile strike on Soroka Hospital in southern Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and several Israeli influencers have been relentlessly portraying the attack as “inhumane” and “barbaric,” painting Iran as a ruthless aggressor targeting civilian infrastructure.
Yet this narrative quickly crumbles under the weight of reality: within less than a week, Israel itself has openly targeted and bombed three hospitals in Tehran.
The attacks came in the wake of Israel’s initial airstrikes on several Iranian sites, including military and nuclear facilities, which triggered Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes.
However, while Iran focused its response on strategic and military infrastructure, Israel took aim at civilian facilities—hospitals protected under international humanitarian law.
According to Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour, another hospital in Tehran was struck by Israeli rockets at 4:45 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2021.
"This marks the third hospital in the capital targeted since the conflict began," Kermanpour stated in an official release. He added that six ambulances and a comprehensive healthcare center had also been bombed.
“In just seven days, the Zionist regime has committed more than six violations of international conventions,” Kermanpour added, referring to the Geneva Conventions, which explicitly protect medical facilities in times of war.
While Western media largely highlights the suffering in Israel, Iranian reports indicate that over 639 civilians have been killed and more than 1,300 injured in Israeli attacks—figures that vastly surpass the 25 Israeli deaths reported so far.
The hypocrisy of the Zionist regime is glaring. They portray themselves as helpless victims, while they are the very ones who initiated hostilities and have systematically destroyed civilian infrastructure.
The global social media landscape is now flooded with emotionally charged content from Israel—videos seeking pity, photos of damaged Israeli hospitals, and dramatic narratives aimed at swaying public opinion.
But the facts on the ground tell a different story: Israel’s actions are aggressive, calculated, and in blatant violation of human rights and international law.
It is reported that nearly every week, hospitals in Gaza are struck by Israeli forces.
Today, almost all hospitals in Gaza have been rendered inoperable, reduced to rubble from relentless Israeli bombardments.
