He confirmed that operations would continue.

U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Iran had a “maximum” of two weeks to avert potential American airstrikes, suggesting he could act even before the 14-day deadline he set on Thursday.

“I’m giving them a time frame, and I’d say two weeks is the absolute maximum,” Trump told reporters. His aim, he said, was to “see whether people come to their senses.”

Trump also dismissed the Geneva discussions between Araghchi and foreign ministers from the UK, France, Germany, and the European Union.

“Iran doesn’t want to talk to Europe,” he said. “They want to talk to us. Europe isn’t going to be able to fix this.”

UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy acknowledged that the U.S. had offered only a “short window of opportunity” to resolve the crisis in the Middle East, calling it “dangerous and deadly serious.”

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said the European ministers had invited Araghchi to “consider negotiations with all parties, including the United States, without waiting for a ceasefire.”

Barrot added, “There can be no lasting solution to the Iran nuclear issue through military means,” and warned that “forcing regime change in Iran is a dangerous ambition.”

On Friday, Israel was hit by another barrage of Iranian missiles, with the Israeli military reporting that 20 rockets targeted the northern city of Haifa. One Israeli woman died of a heart attack, bringing the country's death toll to 25 since the outbreak of the conflict.

The Israel Defense Forces stated they had struck ballistic missile storage and launch facilities in western Iran.

Over the past week, Israeli airstrikes have destroyed Iranian military infrastructure and weapons depots, killing senior commanders and nuclear scientists.

Iran’s Health Ministry reported on Sunday that at least 224 people had been killed, while the Human Rights Activists News Agency put the unofficial death toll at 657 as of Friday.

The conflict began on June 13, when Israel launched its initial strikes on Iran, prompting several waves of Iranian missile and drone attacks in retaliation.***
