KLIK SAJA – Chelsea have claimed their second-ever Club World Cup title following a stunning 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the final held on Sunday night.

PSG, the reigning UEFA Champions League winners, came into the tournament as heavy favorites, with Luis Enrique’s squad widely hailed as the strongest club team in the world today.

Throughout the competition, PSG had posted impressive stats, often securing emphatic wins that solidified their dominance.

However, The Blues rose to the occasion in the grand finale. Cole Palmer struck twice within just eight minutes of the first half, before assisting Joao Pedro, who netted his third goal since joining the club.

PSG delivered a lackluster performance, unable to mount any meaningful response. Their night worsened when Joao Neves was sent off late in the match held in New Jersey.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca masterminded a historic win for the London side.

Although Chelsea previously lifted the Club World Cup trophy back in 2021, this victory feels even more special given the revamped format and high level of competition in the much-talked-about 2025 edition of the tournament.

From a financial standpoint, the triumph is also a major success for Chelsea, with reports suggesting the club earned around £90 million in prize money—providing a significant boost heading into the highly anticipated 2025–26 season.

Facing PSG was always going to be Chelsea’s biggest test, as the French giants remain one of the most formidable teams on the planet. While that remains true, PSG's performance on the night fell far short of expectations.

Midfield trio Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Fabian Ruiz had been sensational throughout 2025, but they were completely outclassed in the first half as Chelsea asserted their dominance.

The absence of Willian Pacho due to suspension proved costly for PSG’s defense, which appeared vulnerable and disorganized throughout the match.

But this was Chelsea’s night. Their fans now have every reason to look forward to a bright future, with a young, evolving, and immensely talented squad.

Cole Palmer was the standout performer. He showed remarkable composure with his brace and delivered a beautiful assist for Pedro’s goal, all before halftime.

Despite inconsistent form last season, Palmer shone brightly when it mattered most—solidifying his status as Chelsea’s star and the driving force behind their prestigious Club World Cup triumph. ***
