KLIK SAJA - A thrilling showdown awaits as Juventus and Manchester City face off in their final Group G match of the FIFA Club World Cup at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Thursday, June 27, 2025 (local time).

Both European powerhouses have already secured a spot in the Round of 16. However, this match will determine who finishes at the top of the group — with Juventus currently holding a narrow edge due to their superior goal tally.

Juventus kicked off their Club World Cup debut in style with a dominant win over Al-Ain, followed by a convincing 4-1 victory against Wydad AC in Philadelphia to book their ticket to the knockout stage.

One of the standout performers for the Bianconeri has been Kenan Yildiz, who scored in the opening match and added a brilliant brace against Wydad.

He was just shy of a hat-trick, as the opening goal was recorded as an own goal by Abdelmounaim Boutouil.

Despite enduring a turbulent 2024–25 domestic season — marked by 16 draws in Serie A — head coach Igor Tudor has guided Juventus to an impressive campaign in this global competition.

With nine goals in just two games (one more than Man City), Juventus sit atop Group G and only need a draw to stay there.

Juve come into the clash in fine form, riding a seven-match unbeaten streak across all competitions (5 wins, 2 draws), including three straight wins over Manchester City — most recently a 2-0 triumph in the UEFA Champions League in December 2024.

Reigning 2023 Club World Cup champions Manchester City opened their Group G campaign with a routine 2-0 win over Wydad, before dismantling Al-Ain 6-0 in Atlanta.

Despite the big scoreline, manager Pep Guardiola was frustrated that his side couldn't net a seventh, which would have given them a goal-difference advantage over Juventus.

Now, City must win to claim the top spot and avoid a potential Round of 16 clash with familiar foes Real Madrid, who have met the Citizens in each of the last four Champions League seasons.

City have lost just once in their last 15 matches across all competitions (11 wins, 3 draws), but they’ve historically struggled against Juventus — winning just once in seven competitive encounters, way back in the 1976 UEFA Cup.

Juventus will be without Mattia Perin, Juan Cabal, Bremer, and Arkadiusz Milik, all sidelined due to injury. Captain Manuel Locatelli has recovered from an ankle issue and could return to the starting XI, although Tudor may stick with Weston McKennie and Khephren Thuram in midfield.

The starting lineup is expected to remain unchanged for a third consecutive match, with Andrea Cambiaso and Alberto Costa providing width, while Yildiz and Francisco Conceicao support Randal Kolo Muani up front.
