KLIK SAJA - In Sunday’s final at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Paris Saint-Germain finally achieved their long-awaited dream of winning the UEFA Champions League by crushing a lackluster Inter Milan with an emphatic 5–0 victory.

The spotlight of the night wasn't on Spain’s Lamine Yamal, but rather on a young rising star—Désiré Doué.

The teenager delivered a historic performance, scoring two goals and providing an assist in the final.

In doing so, Doué became the first player to directly contribute to three goals in a single Champions League final.

The 19-year-old, a product of the Rennes academy, provided a simple assist for Hakimi and followed it up with two clinical finishes to finally end PSG’s long wait for European glory—perfectly embodying the definition of "flawless."

Player Profile: Désiré Doué

Désiré Nonka-Maho Doué (born 3 June 2005) is a French professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team.

He is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the world, known for his dribbling skills, speed, and free-flowing style of play.

Doué is a France youth international, having represented the country at U-17, U-19, and U-21 levels, and was also part of the French Olympic team in 2024.

On 17 August 2024, Doué signed for Paris Saint-Germain from fellow Ligue 1 side Rennes. He signed a contract valid until 30 June 2029, turning down an offer from German giants Bayern Munich.

He made his debut for PSG on 23 August as a substitute in a 6–0 win over Montpellier, wearing the number 14 shirt.
In the post-match interview, Doué stated he had no regrets about choosing PSG over Bayern.

In the following match on 1 September, he recorded his first assist for PSG with a cross that set up a Randal Kolo Muani header, sealing a 3–1 victory over Lille.

Doué made his Champions League debut on 18 September at the Parc des Princes against Spanish side Girona.

He scored his first goal in the competition on 10 December, contributing to a 3–0 away win against RB Salzburg.
